Gladman planning appeal Day 2    21 September, 2016

The morning of the Inquiry was taken up with discussions of evidence in relation to the value of the landscape at Knightcott. Especially the views, the unique characters and tranquillity of the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty as well as the benefit that the footpath offers.

In the afternoon Parish Councillor Phil Hale gave evidence on behalf of the Parish Council and showed the traffic situation and his evidence was followed by Paul Blatchford.  Although several people were able to attend in the morning this tailed off as the day progressed.

Please attend over the next few days of the inquiry if you are able.

Session 1 is 9:30am until approximately 1pm but includes a 10/15 minute break.  Session 2 runs between 2pm and will finish no later than 6pm again with a 10/15 minute break.

You do not need to stay for the entire session but please make sure you sign in.  To do this you need to enter the main chamber and then the sign in sheet is in front of you.  You can then either sit at the back of the main chamber or you can sit in the galley which is if you leave the main chamber turn left and then the stairs are on the right.

The inquiry continues on Thursday 22nd, Friday 23rd (but only in the morning) and then on the following week it will be Wednesday 28th and Thursday 29th.
