   Defibrillator training    9 June, 2016

Did you know that the correct use of a defibrillator can increase the chances of surviving a heart attack by 75%?

In the event of an attack, every second counts. The faster a Defibrillator can be successfully applied and used, the higher the chance of survival.  Even shaving off the shortest amounts of time can mean the difference between life and death.

This defibrillator training gives you the skills and confidence to make defibrillator use second nature. You will learn how to quickly identify the symptoms, unpack the defibrillator, accurately apply it and then use it without hesitation to maximise the casualty’s chance of survival.

The training is supplied free of charge by the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust.  Please make every effort to attend.

For further information please contact Tony Jay, Parish Clerk on 01934 820442.
